The property is split into two sale units: Chattahoochee (aka “Hooch”) is the largest totaling 32,246± acres, followed by Coosa totaling 11,152± acres.

These are well-stocked tree farms on excellent growing sites under expert forest management for over fifty years. Approximately 74% of Coosa-Hooch is intensively managed pine plantation, primarily loblolly pine. The vast majority of these plantations are considered merchantable (>11 years old) and average 63 tons per acre of wood product. The geographic layout of the properties offers investors diversification across a range of real estate and timber markets.
Coosa-Hooch is being offered for sale through a single-stage, sealed-bid process. Bids will be due October 1, 2020.
