LandVest’s GIS team produces maps for clients on demand that incorporate the unique spatial information of each client. Our delivery time is within 1-3 days of the request.
We provide a stable long-term home for clients to house GIS data, create basic maps and conduct data analysis. This set up is ideal for small land trusts or companies where dedicated GIS staff is not economically viable.
The LandVest GIS department integrates species, ecosystem, and landscape- based priorities to identify important resources locally and regionally, and are currently working with Mass Audubon and the Massachusetts chapter of The Nature Conservancy to create a website that helps prioritize conservation at the parcel level.
LandVest has parcel level data for many towns throughout New England and conducts searches for parcels with specific attributes. For instance, we can quickly find parcels with significant agricultural resources that are greater than 100 acres in size and are currently available on the market in a geographical area of interest.
We use spatial information to calculate catchment areas, identify retail sites, conduct competitor analysis, and calculate current and future shopping trips and drive times.
The LandVest GIS team uses remote sensing technology to extract information from a variety of data types for purposes such as detecting change in the landscape and monitoring easements on large properties.
